Internet Browser

I have decided to make a little post about the different Internet browsers that you can use. Everyone already knows about Internet Explorer 7 and 8beta and FireFox, but what about Google Chrome and Safari. Downloads Are In The Link List.

Faster Computer

There are many ways to make your computer faster by not having to buy any sort of software or pay professionals to do it. There are many free programs to download, or even software already built into your operating system. The first thing you will want to do is got to

Signs of a Virus

Everyone that has a computer has either had a virus or still has one right now. Viruses can be the most disruptive and annoying things that have invaded your computer. They can steal your private information like passwords, documents and even use your computer for their own use.

Get Rid of a Virus

Even though it might seem like you can never get rid of the virus that you have, a virus can always be removed. It might not be the easiest way to get rid of it, but you can make it go away. I you do not know if you have a virus, follow these signs here "5 Signs You Have A Computer Virus."

Build a Computer

There are many reasons why people choose not to build their own computer. Maybe they don't want to or they don't know all of the parts to get one set up. In any case building your computer is a lot better than buying a pre assembled one from the store. "

Fix Registry Errors

The first time you buy or build a computer, it is as smooth as it could possibly be. No crashing, no slowing down or taking long to boot up, but eventually your computer becomes slower and slower the more you use your computer. "

What Exactly is a Registry Error?

The first time you buy or build a computer, it is as smooth as it could possibly be. No crashing, no slowing down or taking long to boot up, but eventually your computer becomes slower and slower the more you use your computer. The Registry is the engine of your whole operating system, so if you use your computer more and more without cleaning this up, there could be some problems because the "engine" gets overloaded and pops up with error messages or crashes.

Some of the signs that you may need to fix your registry errors are:

1. Computer crashes randomly and you don't know why.

2. Your Computer is not as fast as it once was.

3. Longer than usual loading times.

4. The ugly error messages.

Every little thing that you download, install or run takes up space in your registry which can eventually make your new computer somewhat slower.

The program that I have found that works the best on my computer is RegAce. It finds every registry error that other programs have left behind and cleans them up with ease.

It even found 759 errors on my computer even though I clean my computer daily. I would highly recommend this product.

You can download the free scan HERE to see if you have a lot of errors.

7 Reason to Build a Computer.

Posted by Scott at 12:48 PM 1 comments

There are many reasons why people choose not to build their own computer. Maybe they don't want to or they don't know all of the parts to get one set up. In any case building your computer is a lot better than buying a pre assembled one from the store. You get the computer built to your exact specs that you want, how fast, how much space, for gaming or for entertainment.

I have compiled a list of thing I consider to be the best in custom versus pre assembled computers.

1. It's Cheaper- You can easily build a higher performing computer for around $1000 than you could buy one for that much money. In fact, you could probably build a computer to match any pre assembled computer for cheaper or the same price.

2. You Get What You Pay For- By this I mean that if you want a gaming computer, you will have to spend around $1500-2000 for a pre assembled one, when you can build one yourself for around $1000 with the same power.

3. Get to learn about computers- When you are building the computer, you are learning a technique that not a lot of people have, which is a good thing. You start to learn about the technology and what goes with what, which can lead you into a career with technology or computers.

4. A lot more powerful- Like I said earlier, if you build a computer for the same coast of buying a pre assembled one, it is most likely to be way more powerful than the store bought one. Brand name computers really "cheap it up" when it comes to the motherboard, power supply, memory and basically everything else.

5. You have the knowledge to do it again- Now that you have already built your own computer, you can do it over and over again for friends or the family computer and so on.

6. You Could Make It A Living- Making a living building computers, or just setting up some flayers around town is a great way to start your own company or make a little money.

7. It is Fun- It's good to learn how to, but it is really fun knowing that you put the whole computer together yourself. When you first clock the start button and everything turns on, it's like you have created a monster!

Get Rid Of A Virus!

Even though it might seem like you can never get rid of the virus that you have, a virus can always be removed. It might not be the easiest way to get rid of it, but you can make it go away. I you do not know if you have a virus, follow these signs here "5 Signs You Have A Computer Virus."

The first thing you need to do is have virus protection software. Their are many free versions of virus protection that work just as good as the ones that you pay for. Here is a list of highly recommended FREE virus software, choose one along with #4:

1. AVG Anti Virus
2. Anti-Vir
3. Bit Defender Free
4. Super Anti-Spyware

Now that you have some Anti-Virus protection, update the software(usually there is and update tab to click) and do a full system scan with your Internet connection disconnected!

Having the Internet disconnected helps you out tremendously because that virus is being told what to do by the hacker over your Internet connection. If there is no Internet connection the virus does not get the command to steal any of your files.

After you have done a full system scan and deleted or put into quarantine whatever the program found, clean out your temporary Internet files by doing a disk cleanup. If you do not know how to do a disk cleanup look at my first post "Make Your Computer Faster".

That should just about clean-up your PC from the little viruses , check back for more information on how to get rid of the viruses that lock up your whole computer!

If you have any trouble getting rid of a virus, post a comment on what you have done, and I will do my best to help you remove it.

5 Signs You Have A Computer Virus.

Posted by Scott at 3:02 PM 0 comments

Everyone that has a computer has either had a virus or still has one right now. Viruses can be the most disruptive and annoying things that have invaded your computer. They can steal your private information like passwords, documents and even use your computer for their own use. Sometimes a virus can go unknown, but other times their are signs that you have a virus. The signs would include:

1. Your computer is slower than normal- This is the first major problem that you should notice. This does not always mean you have a virus because eventually your computer will start to get slower and slower, but if it is seriously slower in a matter of minutes look into it.

2. Freezing- After your computer starts to rune slower, there should be some freezing and locking up of your computer.

3. Restarting- Restarting of your computer is another major sign of a virus infection. Your computer can either restart immediately or every couple of minutes.

4. Application do not work- Many times that virus takes the shape of one of your applications and makes it not work or it creates an unknown application that does not do anything when you click on it.

5. Continuous pop-ups- Pop-ups are another sign that a virus has invaded your system. The pop-ups that happen when you go to the Internet or some sites are normal, but the pop-ups that happen when your are just on your computer could mean that you have a virus.

These are all signs that you could have a virus, so if you have one of these signs run a virus scan to see if you do. If you do not no if you have virus protection or you do not want to pay for protection, tomorrow April 8,2009 I will post another article on how to get rid of a virus.

Internet Browser Test.

Posted by Scott at 11:32 AM 0 comments
I have decided to make a little post about the different Internet browsers that you can use. Everyone already knows about Internet Explorer 7 and 8beta and FireFox, but what about Google Chrome and Safari. Downloads Are In The Link List.

Google Chrome

When you first open up Google Chrome you realize just how fast it is. That does not really account for anything because it goes right to Google.com and it is made by google, but still it was still fast.

The Second thing is that there is no design part to it and it looks plain and simple. Sometimes this can be a good thing like fewer things to load and not so clustered and disorganized at the top, but I would like a little more flash to the design.

Safari
Safari is originally a Apple or Mac made software, but they have made a version for windows. I really like the cool design of Safari like the history page and it just seems like it was well designed. I did a little test between IE7 FireFox Google Chrome and Safari to see which one loaded my website the fastest, and of course it was Safari.

Well I might be looking at changing my default browser to Safari now after what I have seen from it.
